Visionage Agrotech Farms Ltd, a family business, was registered by the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (CAC) on the 4th of May, 2006.

The major preoccupation of the company will be to cultivate land, produce crops and breed livestock; in order to provide food, fiber, medicine, and recreation to sustain and enhance the quality of life.

The company will also provide business support services such as training and capacity building to existing and potential agro-preneurs. 

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase”  (Job 8:7)

The Company commenced business in 2006 on a 130-acre land on Km. 6 Ilaro-Idogo Road, Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria but the business was suspended in 2012 due to protracted and unresolved community crisis.

During the period of operation, the company produced cassava, maize, vegetables (fruit, seed, root), and oil palm and distributed to customers, both domestic and commercial.

As a result of that setback, the company engaged in a restructuring exercise, with professional support, for greater profitability and continual sustainability.

At the conclusion of the restructuring process in 2018, the business continued in its new location in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. 

On about 3 hectares (7.5-acres) of land, the Company has established its Demonstration Farm.

The Farm will, as much as possible, manifest the full expression of the agriculture value chain, from Farm-to-Table.
